Do you think there is any political corruption in Sri Lanka? If yes, what kind of corruption?

For our cl project, we would like to see if ecotourism is feasible in the village of Dambadeniya, Sri Lanka. To investigate the political situation of the area, we would like to know if the country has to deal with corruption. Thanks in advance.
